All the arrangements have been finalised for the 765th annual Urs of great Sufi Saint Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar (RA) to be commenced on Monday (today) May 15. This time Tight Security arrangements have been made by increasing the number of police and rangers personnel besides putting the intelligence network on high alert.

Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro Munawar Ali Mahesar informed that after the brutal suicidal terrorist incident at the Shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar on 16th February the Security has been beefed up and over 200 CCTV Cameras have been installed at various places while air surveillance of Security would be made through 4 drone cameras and security personnel in plain clothes have also been deployed at the shrine.

Mahesar told that severe hot weather is expected for which over 100 SABEELs (cold drinking water facilities) at various places have been arranged. He urged upon the devotees of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar (RA) to adopt precautionary measures to keep themselves safe from scorching heat.
